In this image, there is a side view of a large brick and iron roofed building with other buildings in the background. All the buildings feature gables and wide eaves providing shelter for the windows.
There are several small trees in the foreground with building materials laid out on the ground.

Historical information

This postcard is significant as part of the 'Greetings from Subiaco' postcard series, and for documenting the early construction of buildings which made up the Perth Children's Hospital (later Princess Margaret Hospital). It is believed that this image show the original hospital building, built in 1909, which was located on the corner of Hay and Thomas Streets.
