This plate was commissioned in 1994 by the City of Armadale from Bristile Fine China as a commemorative memento that they would sell to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Kelmscott Road Board in 1894. The plate featured the City's coat of arms and was number 2 of 1000 plates produced. This plate was kept by the City of Armadale.

This collection is part of a larger collection of items that focuses on the history and impact of local government on the community.
