Michal Lewi has been a practising photographer for over more than half a century. He took photographs of Fremantle Prison in 1975 and in the 1990s. Michal has maintained a lifelong interest in heritage identification and conservation, serving on the WA Heritage Council and as a member of the National Trust Council, including two terms as chairman.
