Frederick Thomas Morrell (b.1891) was the oldest son of Reuben and Elizabeth Morrell.
He served as a private in the 10th Light Horse. Embarked on RMS Morea 26/02/1917 at Fremantle. Based in Egypt. Returned to WA in in July 1919.
He married Alice Farrington and lived at 'Riverside', Greenough. Alice died in 1926. Fred then married Margaret Ibbotsen in February 1937.
Fred died on 18/08/1975.

The Morrell family were important contributors to the agricultural, social and religious life at Greenough. This is also the oldest identifiable baby photograph in the collection.
