Historical information

Gladys Morrell (1896-1988), Caroline Wilson (1897-1975), unknown and Ivy Morrell (1900-1992) at Ironbarks Farm, North Greenough, ready to play tennis. Ironbarks Farm was the home of the Morrell family. Caroline Wilson lived to the east at Woodburn.

Tennis was a popular sport at Greenough in the early 1900s and several farms had their own tennis courts. This photograph is the oldest one of Greenough tennis players held in this collection.
