The Crown Crystal Glass Company in Sydney, New South Wales (previously known as Crystal Glass Works and Crown Glass Works) was the only company to manufacture Carnival Glass in Australia. Crown Crystal produced their first designs for Carnival Glass in Australia in 1919 but only started registering their designs in 1923. They specialised in marigold and purple (or black amethyst) coloured glassware and were known for their bowls and to a lesser degree vases and tables sets. Their products were known for their Australian imagery which included marsupials and local flora.
