Junior Students at St Rita's Convent
1932A sepia head and shoulders photograph of four boys dressed in suits, white shirts and ties and one young girl dressed in a long sleeved dress with collar and a "V" at the waistline.
St Rita's convent started in 1929 and this class was the first to be entered for the Junior Exams, a State Government examination system for senior students. All of the students were successful in passing the exam. St Rita's Convent later became St Patrick's school.

On the back of the photograph handwritten in black ink is "Taken on 24/3/32" and then handwritten in blue ink is "Back Row: Bod O'Leary, Eileen Mouritz (Haddleton) Front Row: Evan Nicholas, Frank O'Leary, Lawrence (Mick) Cruickshank." and below this is "Successful Junior Students 1931 property of Mrs W. Haddleton"
