Cricket at Prosser Oval
c. 1910Men playing cricket at Prosser Oval, there are no houses in the background, however there is an old 1910's car in the foreground and one of the beams of the wooden grandstand is in the middle of the photograph.
The oval is in Carew Street, Katanning and was originally known as the Recreation Ground. Later named Prosser Oval after a Road Board President. The phot was taken from the wooden grandstand that was at the oval. Cliff Prosser donated money to the oval c1980 for salt reclamation and upgrading.
