KANGAROOS AT MELVILLE GLADES 1976 TO 1977

This item shows four sets of photographs, all featuring the indigenous western grey kangaroos that exist on the Melville Glades golf course.

1 to 4. (photograph processing date March 1976)

5, 6. (photograph processing date June 1976)

• Unidentified man with kangaroo holding his hand, two boys nearby - view to 1st tee

7 to 9. (photograph processing date December 1976)

All three show kangaroos in bush scenes, location unknown. The third photograph depicts the bush conditions at the time with banksia trees and several different wildflowers visible.

10 to 15. (photograph processing date January 1977)

The first has a tee sign showing hole 18, then a par 3 (171m par 3 (see scorecard 2020.141 Men 1972)

The locations of the remaining 5 photographs is unknown.

The photographs were removed from an album where they were adhered to the cardboard backing pages. The album contained several sets of photographs believed to have been taken by Geoff Holmes, MGGC President.
