SELETAR VISIT GIFT 2010
2010This vase was presented to MGGC by Singapore reciprocal club Seletar Country Club during their visit to Melville Glades in 2010.
The vase has a translucent dark green colour with ellipsoid-shaped sides that meet at a point on each end. The front of the vase has the Seletar emblem in white and the maker’s name, Krosno (Poland) on an attached label near the top.
The vase is mounted on a wooden base which has a brass inscription plaque on the front describing the event. The words on the plaque state, in part:
“In commemoration of the inter-club friendly golf game … 03 May 2010”. The Seletar emblem also appears on the left of the plaque.
The vase is almost identical to the gift provided in 2008 (Item 2025.39), forming a matching pair.
