The front face of the pin consists of a thin, gold, circular border with two leaping dolphins in the centre, the bottom part of the pin, has the text 'Atlantis', in cursive script, moulded in gold metal. The leftmost tail of the 'A' is broken off. A pin protrudes from the reverse side of the dolphin figures.
