TRUNK: GLOBITE TRAVEL CASE
Large Globite travel case. Dark brown in colour, hard plastic and metal exterior with patterned paper-lined interior. Brown leather baggage tag attached to handle with wire. Two latch locks on left and right sides of the front of the travel case along with a central lock above the handle.
Various remnants of checked baggage stickers around the top and front of the travel case. The left, right, and rear sides of the travel case have square 'E' stickers with 'Ross EDWARDS' handwritten in black ink.
'GLOBITE TRAVEL CASES' label at the bottom of the travel case on the inside, as well as on underside of the top of the case.
Made in Australia.
Travel case belonged to Ross Edwards, came to the donor in 2012 upon Edwards' passing, aged 92.
Travel case was donated to the Subiaco Museum along with three telegrams (see 2024.368) and a number of cufflinks (see 2024.369).
