City of Wanneroo Bookmark
City of Wanneroo bookmark, a thin piece of rectangular leather coloured red on the underside and green on the smoothed top side. Imprinted on the green surface in gold is a small emblem of two water birds holding a shield between them with 'CITY OF WANNEROO' over the top. Underneath imprinted into the green surface in gold cursive script is 'Congratulations/on your/visit/ to the/ Administration/ Centre'. Underneath imprinted in bold gold lettering is 'From/ The Mayor/and/Councillors/of/The City/of/ Wanneroo'. Underneath that imprinted in gold is a gold rectangle with two gumnuts and four leaves outlined in the middle. Near the bottom of the bookmark, the leather has been cut into multiple vertical strips creating a fringe.

Gifted to all children who attended opening of the civic centre administration in 2001. Owned by Kathy Christoffelsz. Schools were invited to tour the building when it opened. There were also rides on Clydesdale horses around the town centre. The opening of the civic centre was important in Wanneroo's history as before the City has no central site. Finance was at Meelandah Boulevard Kingsley, Community Services was at Deepwater Circuit in Merriwa and Recreation, the CEO and Rangers were at the Ashby Depot.
