King Edward VIII Commemorative Mug
A round, beige, ceramic, square handled commemorative mug. The cup's rim is lined with gold and there is a large chip behind the handle on the right side. The words 'CORONATION OF KING EDWARD, VIII MAY 12TH 1937'. A photo of Prince Edward in the centre and on the left is a stem of two roses, a lion wearing a crown, and an English flag with a Scottish flag above. On the right side of the image is a thistle in bloom, a unicorn, a royal standard flag, and a Union Jack flag above. In a ribbon scroll under the image the words 'DIEU ET MON DROIT. Under the scroll is a crown with sceptres crossed behind. Above the image are the words 'GOD SAVE OUR KING'
