Historical information

Ian Dowling established the Greenough River Pottery in an old barn on the west bank of the Greenough River leased from the National Trust (WA) in1977. He then moved to Margaret River in 1982. This jug is based on the design of a jug recovered from the Batavia shipwreck, and was made for the Hampton Arms Inn at Greenough.
