John Maley was a miller and storekeeper at Greenough. He and his wife Elizabeth (nee Waldeck) were to raise a family of 14 children there. They valued education and after completing primary school at Greenough, their children were sent to Fremantle to further their education.
This bill is for their two oldest, George (b. 1863) and Hannah (b.1865).
