Information from the March 1979 Countrywoman publication.
Another pleasant happening during the reception was the handing over by our charming Lilian Higgins of a complementary tapestry to the one of the Foundation of Perth, one of the same spot as it is today. We are just so lucky to have members who are capable of creating heirlooms and who are so generous with their talents and time. The pair will probably remain hanging in the Board Room, it is such a fitting place for them. We are all most grateful to Mrs. Higgins for this wonderful gift.
