Overview

Brown glazed ceramic earthenware vase.
Solid circular earthenware base with a narrow waist 1/3 of the way up and then gradually flaring to same circumference as the base, at the top.
Decorated at top and bottom about a half inch from the ends, with a patterned strip running around the circumference impressed into the glaze with what could be lace.
Some impurities in the clay have come through the glaze as pitted marks.
