Framed photograph of three young men in uniform.
They are Thomas Henry Dorizzi known as Tom (born 1914) Gordon (born 1916) and Herbert known as Bert (born 1918)
The Dorizzi family rented the Newcastle Gaol, Toodyay as a private home from around 1929. (The gaol had ceased operating at this location in 1907.)

Details
The three Dorizzi brothers in the photo enlisted in the 2/f Machine Gun Regiment in 1940 during WW2. They were taken prisoner by Japanese soldiers after the fall of Singapore. They were transferred to Sandakan in North Borneo. Herbert and Gordon were believed to be shot dead on 11 February, 1945 and Tom died on 11 March, 1945 during the second forced Sandakan-Ranau death march.
