Flying Officer John Anthony (Tony) Galvin was the grandson of Antoni Szczecinski. He was the son on John and Leonorah (Nora) Galvin.Tony enlisted in August 1940, Left Australia on 4 July 1941 and was killed on 12 December 1941. His plane, a Blenheim V5588 crashed at Giarabub, Libya during air operations and all crew were lost.Galvin Road, Mundijong is named after him.
