Contextual Information

In 1933 the town of Toodyay decided to celebrate its centenary believing the old townsite had been surveyed in 1933.
A number of events were planned, the last of which were held on the 24th October 1933.
(These were the Pioneer’s Dinner and the Children’s Dance held at the Toodyay Town Hall, later renamed the Toodyay Memorial Hall.)
