PITCH MARK REPAIR TOOL

This is a pitch ('pug') mark repair tool.

The tool is constructed of a silver-coloured cast metal with an imbedded magnetic in the head securing an embossed circular ball marker. The ball marker has a green outer ring with the words 'Melville Glades Golf Club / 50th Anniversary' written in gold. The centre features the green and gold MGGC crest on a white background. The structure of the tool is designed so that it can be fitted onto a belt.

The rear of the tool has the manufacturer's name CMC, which is assumed to be the American company CMC Design. The tool itself was manufactured in China.

This item is almost identical to 2022.374. The differences between them are the ball marker face details and the finish on the metal of this repair tool being closer to a true silver colour.
