Overview

The significance of this photograph has not yet been determined. It appears to be some form of memorial service. Two of the ladies in the picture are wearing armed service medals of some description and appear to be looking excitedly at Rosa Palmer, the lady seated with her hand to her face. The lady sitting facing Rosa is believed to be Fran Mutter.

The other ladies are unidentified. Rosa's husband Laurie served for a long period at a high level in the Australian army and the RSL which may relate to the occasion.

The photograph appears to be dated 10/8/1994, provided the camera's date/time was set correctly.
