SCORECARD - MEN & WOMEN 2009

This scorecard is for both Men and Women.

It has been determined as being applicable in 2009. This date is confirmed by a printing date on the rear of the card as May 2009.

The card is titled "Bushland Oasis" on the front reflecting the setting of the golf course and part of the club's ''Vision Statement''. The men’s course is 6142 metres with an A.C.R. of 73. The women’s course is 5520 metres with A.W.C.R. 74.

This card and those in Items 2020.152 and 2022.127 show the same image on the front - a view of the putting green and clubhouse taken from the northern side looking south. Item 2022.126 has a similar design, but different pictures on the front.

Scorecards in Items 2020.152 and 2022.126 are applicable to the course prior to the modifications to holes 8 and 9. The par 5 hole 8 was shortened and redirected to the west near the green whilst the par 3 hole 9 was lengthened and also moved to the west. The cards in Items 2020.153 and 2022.127 are applicable to the course after the modifications to holes 8 and 9.

This card purportedly shows the “Members” course, being 187 metres shorter than the “Championship” course shown in Item 2022.127. However, there are some anomalies in the lengths shown on holes 8 and 9. The men’s card has a length of 500m for hole 8 which is the length of the “Championship” course in 2022.127. The men’s card length for hole 8 of 180m appears correct. For the women’s card the lengths of holes 8 (422m) and 9 (127m) do not appear to have been adjusted to reflect the changes to the two holes and are the same as 2022.126. These anomalies have been corrected in card 2022.127.

There are six Local Rules numbered on this card but there are two paragraphs without numbers after these that have been numbered Rules seven and eight on subsequent card 2022.127. Further supporting the date of this card is the wording of the Local Rule regarding relief from Roads and Paths. 2020.152 and 2022.126 do not mention bitumen as a path type, whereas 2020.153 and 2022.127 do. Bitumen paths were added to some holes whilst Rob Smith was the Course Director in the period 2008-2010.
