Background includes part of a rainwater tank and rear view roof and chimneys of adjoining house. Written in blue ink on back 'January 16th 1954 taken in back yard of 19 Union St Subiaco Florence Russell and Daughter Dori and larkson'

Historical information

Florence Chick (nee Fraser) lived at 19 Union Street Subiaco all her married life. Initially with her 1st husband Mr Chick and her 2nd husband Arthur Russell. The front room was rented out just before the war. The Russells never had a car. Florence Russell (nee Fraser) born 1902, died 2001 aged 99 years. Doris Chick went to Subiaco Primary School.
