MRS E C (CONNIE) DAWSON B. E. M.
Connie Dawson started the local Association (Now Parent’s Support Group) in 1945. In over 30 years association with the Girl Guides she was President of the L.A; Warranted Leader and District Commissioner. She was awarded the British Empire Medal in June 1969, part of the citation was in honour of her work for the Girl Guides
