Overview

Front: The original black and white photograph is of a class group of students. 'Std Iia' has been added in red ink. Laurel is distinguished by a red cross. She sits just right of centre in the second of four rows of children. The photograph is taken outdoors with parts of the school buildings in the background.

Reverse: Handwritten message from Laurel: 'Mr Turner I have made a blot straight away. I am writing this letter to show you our class with love from Laurel."
