TIN, METAL - RED

Overview

Rectangular metal tin, probably the bottom half, minus the lid. The tin is painted in red with corners in gold. Multiple scratches on the bottom of the tin.

Bent out of shape as if folded in the middle and then straightened out slightly. Interior of the tin is metal grey - not painted.

Historical information

The school was scheduled to be demolished in 1987 to make way for the Armadale Shopping City expansion. The community rallied to save the building by transporting it down the road to its new location. The old Congregational Church was rebuilt just before the school was moved and sits adjacent to the school.
