A french designed gun, GPF stood for 'Grande Puissance Filloux'. Captain Filloux was the designer, rough translation 'large ordnance Filloux' . In 1917 the American Army bought 48 of them from the Fench and many more were built in the USA. Type emplaced at Point Peron Battery abd Challenger Battery, Garden Island
