Transfer of flour note from Thomas Bishop

Thomas Bishop (1827-1901) came to WA with his wife and children in 1857. Initially a policeman, he later settled at Central Greenough where he leased farmland from the Anglican Church.
William Shepperd was the son of an Enrolled Pensioner Guard and farmed at Greenough.

This is one of only two notes in the Maley Mill & Store Archives associated with William Shepperd, and there is only one promissory note and a small account book (1874-5) associated with Thomas Bishop.
