"This newsletter has been distributed in an endeavour to inform Ratepayers of decisions, or of proposals under consideration by Council. A reporter from the Busselton Margaret Times attends meetings of the Council, and assists by printing articles that may be of interest to the public generally. However, the newspaper cannot afford the space to cover all items, many of which are only of local interest. It is intended that the periodical issues od a Shire Ne2sletter will keep Ratepayers informed of many items of local interest."
