A black and white photograph of a five service men sitting in a open vehicle outside of a hotel. The driver of the vehicle is a civilian and dressed in a suit. The registration of the vehicle is "MJ.46". There are four men standing against the wall of the hotel and six young boys standing to the right of the vehicle. There is a small British flag attached to the front of the car.

Inscriptions and markings

On the photograph in white typed lettering at the bottom left is "KATANNING 21/11/19".

On the front of the photograph on the mount in the bottom left hand corner is stamped in gold lettering "Frank Martyn , Ideal Studio, Katanning West Australia."

On the back of the photograph handwritten in black ink is "I. Bradbury" and in pencil is "in front of Katanning Hotel Seated 2nd from left George Meltaing"
