A pale yellow piece of paper which has been torn out from a booklet, it is a receipt for a Broadcast Listener's Licence.
Historical information
A legal requirement of owning a wireless (radio) was to have a 'Wireless Licence'. These were purchased a the Post Office annually.

The licence number was handwritten in blue ink, it was "863470", the person's name and address is handwritten in blue ink "CULLEN M 23 Claude St Katanning". The receipt is stamped in black ink with a circular stamp which in the outer circle reads "WEST AUST KATANNING" and the inner circle "30 MAY63"
