1946A pale green BKW Co-Operative Limited share certificate issued to Herbert Carmichael Green, of Broomehill. on the eight day of August 1946. The certificate is for ten shares numbered 5046 to 5055.
The BKW Co-operative Store in Austral Terr, Katanning. B ie Broomehill, K ie Katanning, W ie Woodanilling, the store started in Broomehill and moved to Katanning c1945. The store offers shares to local people, Share holders take part in the management and profit of the business. The shop is in Austral Terr and the last major expansion was in October 2001. It trades as a department store with a full stock of hardware, ladies and men's clothes, farm supplies, and grocery.

Above the title of the share certificate is printed 'Scrip No. 432' the 'No. of Shares 10' and the 'Register Folio 152'.
At the bottom left of the certificate is the signature of 'M.R. Anderson' the secretary and 'G.F. Meyer' the Director. In between the two signatures is a purple stamp, around the inside edges of the stamp is 'B.K.W. CO-OPERATIVE LIMITED' and inside the circle is 'Common Seal'.
In the top right hand corner is an embossed stamp, the outside of the stamp is a wreath, on the inside edge is 'ONE PENNY DUTY STAMP' and in the centre is a swan, on the left side of the swan is a 'W' and on the right hand side an 'A'.
