Overview

This is the original book used to record the accounts for the Monday Old Boys golf competitions. It covers the period 1988 to 2000.

The contents contain entries of income (via the number of starters), expenditure (cartons of beer) and balance. Latter pages also show an administration fee.

The book itself is a simple ledger book. The front cover has:

The book is red in colour with a dotted black fill background and contains approximate 100 pages.

The book was provided by the Monday Old Boys organiser, Phil Smith, who advised that they have continued with the same style of register and are now 'on their third book'. Entries in the book show hand writing styles which can be related to the individual of the time who was the Old Boys organiser.
