Lieutenant Norman Field Haynes

Young man with moustache in lieutenant's uniform - slouch hat with cockade and chinstrap and a jacket with high collar, sleeve 'facings', epaulettes under which lanyard is looped, four pockets, metal buttons and belt at waist, over trousers with braid down outside leg, going into leather puttees and boots. A ceremonial sword is held in the gloved left hand.
Norman Field Haynes was born in Geelong. Railway cadet then worked for Millar's Timber Co in South West of the WA. Town Clerk of Cottesloe, Peppermint Grove, Southern Cross, Melville, Mullewa and Narrogin and Mandurah. Did not fight because of medical grounds. Was a Municipal Engineer.
