She is dressed in a cotton frock with a full skirt and a wide lace border.
The sleeves are short, full and also have a lace border.
On her feet are pom-pom button shoes and near knee length socks.
Her hair is short, wavy and curly.
Anita G Whitfield went on to become Mrs Thurman.
The dress in this photograph is a part of the Shire of Toodyay's museum collection, accession number 2001.158
