They first lived at the top of Malcolm Street in West Perth, then on the corner of Irvine Street and The Esplanade, Peppermint Grove. They built this house at 21 View Street, Cottesloe and called it 'Corry' after the Wisdom home in Scotland. They lived there for the rest of their married lives. On 14th December 1896 Aubrey and some friends established the Freshwater Bay Boating Club, now the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club. The first meeting was in this house at 21 View Street. Aubrey Sherwood died on 17th February 1938.
