PETTICOAT: SQUARE NECK, PRINCESS LINE, BRODERIE ANGLAISE TRIMMED
c. 1915Petticoat ankle length, white cotton with back fastening with three pearl buttons remaining. Princess line square neck front and back, front trimmed with wide machine-made Swiss insertion and ribbon, all armhole and neck edges finished with cotton lace. Wide 34cm attached frill of organdie topped with insertion and ribbon with band of insertion half way down frill, and edged with wide broderie anglaise.
