Overview

This card is an Autoscore card printed for a women's competition.

It is estimated that this elongated rectangular shaped style of card was applicable from circa 2014.

The picture on the front of the card shows a golfer putting on the 16th green looking back down the fairway.

Players recorded their score by placing a mark over the relevant hole/number on the card. After the round the card was read by a reader and players could review their scores on a touch screen prior accepting the electronic result.

Cards were printed when the player registered for the competition on the day. Information about the player, competition and course were individually tailored.

Although the card copyright date is 2007, it is estimated that the Autoscore cards and system were not introduced at Melville Glades until early in the 2010s.
