JACK PLANE

Overview

A very old jack plane made mainly from wood, the only metal part is the blade. The knob on the top by which the user would add extra pressure has broken off. A wooden piece that is fixed in the hollow perfectlyholds the metal in place without the use of bolts. A rectangular indent on the underside suggests that another metal plate is missing.
