A black and white photograph of a Diesel Electric Railcar (Engine).

Historical information

These railcars were introduced to serve the Great Southern Line in 1936. The Governor Stirling was the first of six such vehicles that were built by Armstrong Wentworths in England. A negative was included with the photo.
