Police Officer 2171, Alfred Leonard White known as 'Blackie' White. Lived in Kalgoorlie 1947-1949 before being transferred to Perth as a Junior Constable. Lived in the Police quarters with his family at 66 Victoria Avenue, Claremont from 1949-51. He ran the Claremont Police Boys Club and was coach of the Claremont Junior Football Team. He died in March, 2008.
