Statement of significance
Historic: Images of the new station being built while the old station was still in operation. Photographs were taken towards the end of the projects completion, after the decision had been made to sink the railway and construction commenced.
Condition: All three photos are reporductioos, and in good condition.
Rarity: As the old trainstation has now been demolished, photos of it are now rare. Especially colour photographs.
