Hedge & Untitled

Folded screens applied to rails. The screens are bold and functional and reinforce the architectural intent. The impetus for the design for the screens was to reinforce the adjacent abstract ‘hedge’ installation and to help create a visually arresting façade from a distance.

The Blue contemporary marker's were installed as part of the new City of Gosnells Civic Centre in 2008. These markers form a hedge that defines the pathway leading to the courtyard beyond, and assist to create a distinct identity for the building. The markers are complemented by a series of folded screens.
