Pale green cover with design of warrior and lion with a snake, spine is missing. Schamyl and Circassia chiefly from Materials collected by Dr. Friedrich Wagner, and edited, with notes by Kenneth R. H. Mackenzie, F.S.A. member of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain. Second edition. 188 pages, map in colour, appendix A, B, & C with advertisements back and front end papers for other books. Attached to front end paper is a blue ticket for Mrs Stowe's New Work, now ready, Price 1s 6d fancy boards or in cloth 2s., the Fortieth Thousand of the Unabridged Edition of Mrs. Stowe's Sunny Memories of Foreign Lands. Routledge's Unabridged Edition is recommended.
