George Brand (1820-1872) was a former convict who became a successful farmer at a property he named Balmoral at North Greenough.
Thomas Kearney (1837-1872) was convicted of felony and sent to WA in 1858 on the Edwin Fox (convict no. 5284). He also became a successful farmer.

Sir please deiver to Thomas Kearny wheat to the amount of twelve pounds I think it will run about 22 bushels I herd in the Bay yesterday that the wheat was 5/9 per bushel at the mill
