Contextual information

Back of package:
Text: "Jarrah is the principal timber tree of WA. The average tree grows to a height of 100ft to 120ft, a bore of 50ft to 60ft and diameter of 3ft to 4ft.
A hard timber, but easily worked, and combining beauty of colour and grain with strength, durability, and great resistance to fire; it is suitable for almost every purpose.
It is used extensively for ordinary building and when properly seasoned it is particularly suited for high grade purposes - flooring, panelling, interior trim and furniture.
Sometimes known as Swan River Mahogany."
