1943 battery operated army Multi-Meter that is packed into a hinged green painted wooden box with metal corner covers. The multi-meter has a black metal face with white writing.
In 1920, Donald Macadie, a British Post Office engineer, sick of having to carry a bunch of different tools when working on telecom lines, invented the very first multimeter that could measure amperes, volts, and ohms.
