Originally published 1903, the date of this edition is unknown.

Historical information

Rev. E. Saunders (from inscription) is believed to be the Reverend Edward Saunders who was born in the 1870s in Indiana, USA. He arrived in Western Australia in the mid 1890s on the S.S. Albany as a clergyman of the Church of England. He travelled around the colony, spending some time as the Anglican clergyman at Toodyay during the 1910s. He was in Perth in the late 1920s where he died in 1929. He is buried at Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth.
